Kanye West, Drake and Chance the Rapper helped roll out a new Chance the Rapper-backed project, according to a press release, on Wednesday. The venture was unveiled earlier in the day with a six-hour stream-only extravaganza on Thursday at the Masonic Temple in San Francisco, but some seats in the audience cost more than $300,000 apiece. The show also had the benefit of streaming via Amazon Prime’s Prime Video channel in its entirety and in the spirit of Black Thought’s rousing introduction: “Some of y’all have probably never seen Black rappers rap before,” said Black Thought, later adding, “All we do is rap with fire, goin’ at each other.”
